Adenauer will talk about the use of generative, computational and mechanical systems to create art and design projects, in relation to the symposium’s fourth block called ‘An Artwork Born from Infrastructure’.
Date: 16 May
Time: 10.00 – 18.00 hrs
In his work he explores how a system is able to function as a medium that creates an unpredictable artwork. The work ‘Emerging Colorspace’, which is also part of our exhibition, is part of a long tradition of creating art by rulesets, since the artist doesn’t know the outcome of the process in advance.
